"Let them prefer nothing whatever to Christ"
~Rule of St. Benedict, Ch 72
Located in the Cleveland suburbs, St. Andrew Abbey provides an oasis for people to come and meet God. With 16 acres of land, there are many places to walk the grounds or sit in prayer, whether it is at the Marian Grotto, the St. Michael Statue, the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue or in the courtyard. The quietness will allow you to hear God's Word speaking within your heart.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to spend a day or three on retreat where they may join the monks in celebrating the Eucharist, community prayer and worship. Retreats follow our daily prayer schedule followed by meal times.
The abbey has five guest rooms, donated by The Red Roof Inns in memory of their founder and Benedictine alumnist James Trueman '53. These rooms are available for your stay during your retreat.
